Having been on-and-off bicycles of all shapes and sizes since I was a kid, I have since grown a new found love of cycling as an adult. After college, I began recreational cycling as a way to connect with my family and friends as well as get some exercise. Wanting to expand my cycling beyond recreational, I discovered how easy transportational cycling actually is through the resources of CyclingSavvy.

I primarily bike for recreation and what I call “enjoyment” transportation. Since I work from home, I rarely need to commute anywhere. However, I love to ride to my favorite coffee and taco shops, as well as to meet friends for dinner. I also enjoy mountain biking.

Downtown and East Dallas are my favorite places to ride. There’s so much to take in that I miss when I’m driving my car, and it’s so much easier to do than most people expect.

I would like to see a day when civility returns to our roadways and the roads are once again community resources that all types of road users can safely use.
